HCG Diet – Day 33 FINAL RESULTS Round 1 July 2, 2009

May I have a drum roll please…

It’s 72 hours past my last injection.  I ate a real breakfast this morning.  Scrambled eggs and bacon.  YUM!!!

I did my final weigh-in and measurements…Survey says…

Calf                     17 1/2               17                        -     1/2  inch

TOTAL  inches lost 9  1/4  inches
Total weight lost  19.2 lbs (that was my original pre-binge weight.  I believe I had gained 5lbs after binging).
I ended the diet approximately 4 -7 days early.

I’m also back wearing my 44 inch waist pant again.   I was barely fitting into my 48″ waist pants.

I’m also off two medications that I have been on for over seven years.  I have also reduced the need and frequency of one other additional medication.

Today’s good, bad and ugly…

Good – HCG worked for me.  It’s also working for my wife.  She decided she did not reach immunity and is continuing until Saturday. (BTW, she lost another pound since yesterday.)

Bad -  There are days when I was hungry.  Not killer hungry, but still semi uncomfortable.  This happened on 3 days of the diet.

Ugly – The last day coming off was ugly for me.  It gave me a new appreciation for those who are less fortunate.  I at least had 500 calories to eat.  I can’t imagine going without food for a long period of time. (I will increase my fast offering at church).

Will I do it again?  You betcha!  I still have more weight to lose.  I will be starting again in September.

The next few weeks… Watch what I’m eating and exercise.  Drink plenty of water.  My goal is to keep this blog going too.  I might not have a lot to say, but I think it’s important to document this for others…especially healthcare providers who are not sure if it’s a good thing.
For me…it was a very good thing.
